We help streamline the operation of your shop with several easy to use online tools accessible via a private Häagen-Dazs® app. Designed specifically for our franchisees, the app provides access to online training modules, recipe guides, inventory management tracking, employee scheduling, as well as social networking to share news and keep up to date with other franchisees.
Häagen-Dazs® University is a 9-day course that will prepare you and your shop manager with the information and tools to be ready to open your new shop. This training will be held at our franchise headquarters in Minneapolis, MN.

Our nine-day Häagen-Dazs® University course at our corporate training center in Minneapolis, MN will help you gain the knowledge it takes to successfully operate your franchise. Not only will you learn the information needed to open your store, but you will also learn about the tools that Häagen-Dazs® franchises utilize for point of sale, inventory, sales reporting, and more.
We will follow a step-by-step startup process and provide experienced staff members to answer all of your development process questions. We also provide support with store design and construction guidance using qualified vendors.
Upon opening your Häagen-Dazs® Ice Cream Shop, you’ll receive a full complement of our world class in-store point of purchase promotional materials that will ensure your business stands above the competition and helps create the best possible sales opportunities. Additionally, you will benefit from multiple national marketing campaigns annually. These campaigns typically revolve around new flavor introductions, seasonal holidays, innovative new creations, and of course our famous Free Cone Day. However, that’s not where it ends – as a Häagen-Dazs® franchisee you will receive ongoing marketing and operational support through a designated Franchise Business Manager (FBM). Your FBM is your corporate partner who will be able to help you generate and implement local marketing ideas specific for your trade area. They are also there to guide you in operating your business as efficiently as possible to help you maximize profitability potential and operate at a level that is consistent with the brand standards.
