Dreyer’s Cookies 'N Cream ice cream or Edy's® Cookies 'N Cream ice cream

2 eggs plus 2 egg yolks

½ cup oil

1 bag yellow or white cake mix

8 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed

2 sticks butter

2 cups powdered sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla

6 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Mix 1 cup of melted ice cream, eggs, egg yolks, oil, and cake mix until smooth. Fold in the 8 crushed cookies.

Step 3

Spray a 9-inch square cake pan with oil and pour in the batter. Place in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.

Step 4

In a standing mixer, beat the butter until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add in the vanilla and powdered sugar and whip an additional minute. Add in the remaining crushed cookies and mix until well combined.

Step 5

Smooth the frosting over the cooled cake and enjoy!
