A dash of spice, a splash of citrus, and a sweet glaze make this loaf the ultimate breakfast.
1 Outshine® Tangerine Frozen Fruit Bar
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ cup fresh tangerine juice
2 large eggs
½ cup almond milk
⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
1 cup powdered sugar
Preheat the oven to 350ºF and grease an 8-9 inch loaf pan. In a medium bowl, sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, almond milk, eggs, and tangerine juice. Slowly add wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool for 20 minutes before removing from pan and onto a cooling rack.
Mix a melted Outshine® Tangerine Frozen Fruit Bar with powdered sugar, until well combined. Pour the tangerine glaze over the loaf. Allow glaze to set for a few minutes before cutting and enjoy.
