Mango Sorbet Smoothie

YOU WILL NEED:

makes 1-2 servings (depending on how thirsty you are!)

morning smoothie:
½ carton Häagen-Dazs mango sorbet
1 cup yogurt

afternoon smoothie:
½ carton Häagen-Dazs mango sorbet
1 ½ cups of club soda, ½ lime zested and juiced
1 tablespoon of honey

evening smoothie:
½ carton Häagen-Dazs mango sorbet
1 cup soda or tonic water
3 oz. vodka or gin
5-10 leaves of mint or cilantro

DIRECTIONS:

in the pitcher of a blender or tall receptacle with a handheld blender, blend the ingredients together for one minute until smooth. pour into a glass and serve!

tricks of the trade:
  • this smoothie is super versatile! throw in any other overripe fruit from your kitchen right into the blender with the mango sorbet.
  • "morning" smoothie can be served in the afternoon or evening too!
  • "afternoon" smoothie is great even in the evening, and makes for a perfect non-alcoholic fancy drink for kids.
  • if you aren't a fan of liquor, you can always blend the "afternoon" smoothie with two (2) cups of a dry, crisp white wine for a makeshift blended sangria!
